Management consulting
Clarity in complicated situations.
I work across management disciplines with managing directors and owners on organisation, process and efficiency. Depending on the situation, the mandate may focus on developing the business and its organisation, implementing change or temporary responsibility.

Services
What I work on.
Five areas that overlap in practice. A mandate usually starts in one of them and touches others.
Organisation, process and efficiency
Ordering roles, handovers and workflows so decisions move faster, resources are used better and unnecessary work falls away.
Business and organisational development
Developing business models, structures and responsibilities as requirements, technologies or the direction of a company change.
Implementing change
Lead and implement change so new ways of working take hold and decisions turn into results.
Workshops and sparring
Facilitated offsites, strategy work and regular sparring for managing directors and leadership teams.
Interim responsibility
Taking a line or project role for a fixed period, when a position is open or a programme needs leadership.
How I work
How I work.
Understand first
Before anything changes, I look at how it actually runs today. The numbers, the workflows, and conversations with the people doing the work.
Decisions, not slide decks
A mandate ends in a decision that has been taken and a plan the organisation will actually carry.
Until it runs
I stay with the delivery until it holds in everyday work. A concept without delivery stays a document.

Working together
Three formats.
Which one fits depends on how much responsibility should sit outside your organisation.
Analysis, design, delivery
A project with a clear brief: establish the situation, design the answer, support the delivery.
Workshops and sparring
One off or regular. For decisions that need clarity faster than a project can give it.
Interim mandate
Responsibility for a fixed term, in the line or in a programme, with budget and staff authority as agreed.
A situation that needs clarity?
Describe briefly what it is about. You get a read on whether and how I can help, and if I cannot, I say so.
